used to be that most changes were made at the ietf, when the hackers were all in the same terminal room and could most easily coordinate. that's why it worked so well. randy

na... at least not dallas ietf in 1995 (i think it was '95). i remember ravi sitting in the terminal room with myself and most of the mci engg. group debugging a 23-day timer bug in is-is :) the network was pretty much melting down and we were all in dallas. -b
