We weren't even able to deploy our own DWDM. China (Beijing), like India (Mumbai), forced the use of their own transport equipment. //please pardon any brevities - sent from mobile// ________________________________ From: NANOG <nanog-bounces+stephen.myspam=gmail.com@nanog.org> on behalf of Rod Beck <rod.beck@unitedcablecompany.com> Sent: Thursday, January 16, 2020 8:55 AM To: Gabe Cole; JASON BOTHE Cc: nanog@nanog.org Subject: Re: China Network Diversity I think the issue is mainland China, not Hong Kong or Singapore. ________________________________ From: NANOG <nanog-bounces@nanog.org> on behalf of JASON BOTHE via NANOG <nanog@nanog.org> Sent: Thursday, January 16, 2020 5:30 PM To: Gabe Cole <gabe@rtegroup.com> Cc: nanog@nanog.org <nanog@nanog.org> Subject: Re: China Network Diversity I’ve had good luck with PCCW operating as my China liaison since we terminate a lot of circuits in Hong Kong and Singapore.
