Do other people have problems like this? Or does Murphy just likes me?
I am reminded of a major Mother cable cut in the 70's. This cut involved oh 8-10 cables. Then, you had 600-1200 (or maybe bigger) pair cables running between CO's. They were not color-coded... The splicer would grab a pair, any pair, from each cable, splice together, grab another pair...... Then two CO men at the ends would 'buzz out' each and every pair to figure which went where, and mark it down. Of course, if^H when they made a mistake.... And we wonder why it's so hard to get accurate circuit data. -- A host is a host from coast to coast.................wb8foz@nrk.com & no one will talk to a host that's close........[v].(301) 56-LINUX Unless the host (that isn't close).........................pob 1433 is busy, hung or dead....................................20915-1433
