I honestly am not trying to be a troll. It's just everytime I glance over the IANA IPv4 Address Space Registry I feel rather annoyed about all those /8s that were assigned back in the day without apparently realising we might run out.
Yes! We definitely *will* run out of poor men address space (IPv4, that is). The sooner the better. Don't keep the patient alive artificially and don't try to give those "ah, they said that IPv6 will come about 10 years ago, too" people any ideas [1]. Au contraire: use your v4-space as fast as possible. :-) #m [1] aren't you tired of all their excuses for NOT looking into IPv6?
