Need (to acquire or sell) IPv4? Come to SpaceMarket.
IPv4 is not going away as quickly as many would like. Most realistic observations show IPv4 will still be the numbering scheme most widely deployed and utilized for the next decade. This due mainly to peers and providers whom have not deployed IPv6 and ISP end-users, which continue to use, antiquated operating systems. SpaceMarket provides a platform for entities to acquire additional resources that find themselves deficient, and a platform for those with excess/unused resources to monetize their valuable resources. Our platform is safe, secure and confidential. Buyers and sellers can rest assured that their trades will be executed without a hitch (no hijacked network ranges or scammers) as each network allocation available has been thoroughly investigated and tested (we’re either announcing or have announced the networks available for an extended period of time), and upon request by either the buyer or seller, SpaceMarket will serve as an escrow agent for the transaction. Currently (as of this writing), there we have just over 150,000 addresses available for immediate use. This may seem like a low number, but allocations are listed and acquired daily using our automated system—we don’t have to be involved in your transaction. In order to provide our services without hassle and confidentially, we provide access to our trading platform via Tor (as a Tor Hidden Service). This allows our members to connect freely and without worry as to who may be monitoring your online activities or visitors to our site. Additionally, access to the site is restricted to active members of our trading community. For more information on our service, site URL or membership please e-mail us at spacemarket@tormail.org. We look forward to assisting you with your IPv4 needs! Please use our public key (below) when corresponding via E-mail. Likely transfers made in this way may not be recordable with the applicable RIRs and may violate the RIR policies. If you care about your addresses being properly registered in whois to avoid unnecessary hassles around being able to route them, I highly recommend making sure that you are working either directly with a registered resource holder and/or through a reputable facilitator. In my experience, the RIR staff are readily available and very helpful in answering questions about transfer policies and helping you to work within the system to avoid difficulties later.

Nice Tuesday-Evening humor! ...an escrow-agent..and 150k addresses..note "Currently(as of this writing)" No doubt the next post will have 250k free. ./Randy
To: nanog@nanog.org, nanog-announce@nanog.org Date: Tuesday, May 29, 2012, 5:43 PM IPv4 is not going away as quickly as many would like.
Don’t forget to send us yours!
There are five registered STLS facilitators - https://www.arin.net/resources/transfer_listing/facilitator_list.html SpaceMarket is not one of them. I am confounded about why anyone would select a broker who has not taken the basic step of registering with the RIR. Of course, the typos and anonymity should also give you pause. Maybe this is the first round of "419" IP Address Transfer Scam emails. May I suggest... --- My name is Ishmael Curran, illegitimate son of the recently deposed North Virginia Minister of IP Address Distribution. I am currently in hiding and unable to effectively transfer two pre-RIR CLASS A ADDRESS BLOCKS. If you could assist me by paying an IP Address Transfer Fee of $42,561 in Bolivian Pesos to the enclosed Antiguan bank drop, I will provide one of the pre-RIR address blocks to you, as a "thank you". My current status as a fugitive, following the unfortunate VX Gas release at the last ARIN public policy forum precludes my direct involvement. Your short-term loan of $32,945 will be returned via clearly legitimate third-party cashier's check, upon request. Yours Truly, Ishmael ------- Dan

Don’t forget to send us yours!

I could probably gin up some cheap black market Class F's ... I'll match and beat any advertised or unadvertised route. http://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc1365.txt Ted

I considered offering 172.24.0.0/14, in an attempt at in-CIDR humor.
Can we be arrested for in-CIDR trading?

I guess I will just have to settle for selling my 224.0.0.0/24 :-<
After checking some machines, it seems that 127.0.0.1/8 can be sold multiple times, as it is fully re-usable. Any bonus for that ? Paul
