Anyone seeying weird routing probs with Above.net? Colin Legendre CCNA, MCP Infrastructure Management Specialist Q9 Networks Inc. email: colin.legendre@q9.com
Colin, I've been seeing major problems with their network since last thursday. I do know they are having a problem with one of their core routers that handles OCxx traffic somewhere within the bay area. it's causing major problems. Maybe someone from AboveNet could comment on what's going on. -- Shon Elliott Monitoring & Systems Administrator Net Asset (ASN:6472) http://www.netasset.com/ (559) 650-8100 Main Line (559) 650-8111 Tech Support (559) 490-4042 FAX

We are definitely seeing some issues... Nothing reported on their network status page (as of about an hour ago) -- William R. I know it is fun to post to NANOG. However in the future it would be greatly appreciated if you would send email to noc@he.net so that we could help you with your specific routing problems. I checked and I can't find any email or tickets regarding this. We are here to help. As far as I can tell, we have absolutely no trouble reaching AS 6472, and in addition, it doesn't go through abovenet anyway. gsr12008.pao.he.net>traceroute netasset.com Translating "netasset.com"...domain server (216.218.130.2) [OK] Type escape sequence to abort.
