Is anyone else seeing that PSInet has disappeared this morning? Or mostly disappeared? I can reach them only via Sprint to MAE-East. UUnet and Digex both go nowhere. Something wrong with PSInet's private peerings? Kevin
And I forgot to mention - same behavior with BBNplanet. That's AS 1 and AS 174. Of course, even when we do reach PSInet via UUnet during the day, there's a 300 msec lag at UUnet's last hop before PSInet :( Kevin

I'm getting to PSI just fine via both Cerf and BBN... On Tue, 29 Sep 1998 sigma@pair.com wrote:

The PSInet problem cleared up around the time I posted - which is probably some sort of Murphy's Law. The BBN problem persisted, but two Digex employees promptly contacted me to pursue resolution, and the problem cleared up about fifteen minutes ago. I probably overreacted when I saw two backbones unreachable. I apologize to the list. Kevin
