Microsoft NOC Contact - ASN Association Request
Hello all, If anyone from AS8075 is lurking around, could you please reach out to me off-list? Backstory: We submitted an ASN Association (not peering) request to associate our AS with an Azure tenancy, and they rejected the request on the grounds that they "currently don't see any traffic for ASN". Regards, Christopher Hawker
I just went through this, "any" is a large number for Microsoft; if you're under that, they don't peer.

It was an “ASN Association” request (to associate an AS with an Azure tenancy), not a “Peering” request.
