Re: Additions to the NSFNET policy-based routing database
Erik, There may be 5000 networks in the NSFnet policy database, but the biggest routing table I've ever seen so far is about 3850. The difference between the size of the NSFnet policy database and the number of networks actually being carried in Internet routing was on the order of 400 networks for the longest time, but took a big jump last fall for some reason. Dennis, But last week there were on the order of ~4900 T1 networks and ~2700 T3 networks. I have been watching this closely, since I am waiting for the time that it will be more efficient to hear T1 only routes from the NSS and point default at the ENSS. Erik
