Cisco has their FHR protocol specifications protected as proprietary IP. * Gateway Load Balancing Protocol (GLBP) * Hot Standby Router Protocol (HSRP) * https://packetlife.net/media/library/3/First_Hop_Redundancy.pdf Apart from the EIGRP specifications.
