You and me seem to talk about different types of disasters. In my type of disaster, SNMP and netflow doesn't work because the RP is out of commission or seriously malfunctioning.
The ability to type commands via ssh and/or console ports isn't very helpful if one lacks enough context to know what to type, heh.
