So, this is a DNS issue (no MX of record), a ROUTING issue (no route to MX which is in DNS), or some combo of the 2?
More info is likely required to help you get to a solution.

Yes - no DNS record seems to exist for the .co.uk, but does for the www.someplace.co.uk.
