AIX actually supported PMTUD for UDP. Not sure if it still does. Yes, it was bizarro even for AIX. No, I'm not aware of any actual UDP applications that were able to do anything useful with this info. ;)
Think IPSEC NAT Traversal over UDP and/or Teredo. (Yes, Teredo is ugly and should be banned from any legitimate network, but...) Owen
