That's a nice thought; however, if the FBI shows up at the front door of the datacenter with probable cause and/or search warrant for analysis of your network infrastructure due to belief that terrorists are passing email through your servers, I would be personally inclined to let them conduct their investigation rather than be charged with aiding criminal activity or interfering with a federal investigation.
