Rwhois, etc stuff from Global Crossing

At NANOG23 someone from Global Crossing mentioned that they had some rwhois and other stuff that they were going to release under the GPL. Can anyone elaborate on this? I would hate to have to write some of this if it has already been done. I've got an immediate need. Thanks, Dennis
