Just heard that it's fixed..
Though I have no easy way of verifying that, and it might take time to propegate.
The story is that it was specific to Ameritech and parts of Verizon. It was apparently a problem with some of their SCPs and STPs in their SS7 networks. I don't know for sure if it was an actual problem with the SMS/800 database or not. Hopefully I'll get better details from AT&T sooner or later.
I sort of think it might have been further reaching within SBC than just Ameritech because we saw some problems with Pacbell out here in CA.
