While the conspiracy folks go crazy, cable outages are pretty much normal and increasing around the world as the price of copper increases and thieves get confused about what cables contain copper.

that's why almost all cables in Prague undergound (subway tunnels) are marked as "optical cable, no copper inside" in several languages. We hope that "our" thieves can read written text. Regards Michal
