Carpeted datacenters are no joke, check out Telehouse in London Docklands, the existing two buildings have been *fully carpeted* in both the corridors and data floors for some time (but as carpeted tiles, not a continual carpet, a bit like this: http://www.allcarpets.com.au/images/carpettiles.jpg) Dave.
