Reston "Town Center" is not a real "downtown"; it's an artificial open-air shopping mall. The Hyatt is the only hotel there. While it is not inconceivable that you could walk from the Residence Inn or Courtyard hotels on the Reston/Herndon line (the closest hotels that immediately come to mind, though there's also the Sheraton Reston Hotel over by the International Center), any of the above would probably be a half hour to forty five minute walk. Welcome to the suburban hell that is Reston. Enjoy. ---Rob
