Problem: 1. Even so-called "easy" systems are often too complex for $non_technical_person 2. When insecure software is exploited, $non_technical_person must hire a technical consultant anyway to backup data, reinstall the OS, and restore the data. Windows can boot to safe mode. Would an "admin mode" be that much more difficult? Just don't allow switches to admin mode to be automated by software...
