<vent> None of this would bother me that much if we weren't *forced* to do business with these clowns. They've got us over a barrel and there is absolutely no oversight over their quality (ha!) of service. You can bet that folks are going to bolt in droves as soon as there is an alternaive, but they'll waddle to the bank....fat and happy with their registration fees that they've been sitting on (obviously not using the money to improve services) for years. </vent> C -----Original Message----- From: Nathan Stratton <nathan@robotics.net> To: Dalvenjah FoxFire <dalvenjah@DAL.NET> Cc: Moe Allen <moe@vidnet.net>; nanog@merit.edu <nanog@merit.edu> Date: Saturday, March 06, 1999 1:34 AM Subject: Re: Internic

That's nothing. They've been sitting on my request to change a nameserver IP address for a *month*. The old IP and route are long gone, and now my clients are having trouble resolving their domains because of it. I've sent e-mail to action@internic.net twice and markk@internic.net once. Squat. The ticket still shows 'Open', too.
I also have been trying to change nameserver IP address for a little over a month. When I call them up, they keep giving me this we are very busy story. Then they ask me to wait a week and send them email if it is not done.
