AFAIK there is no such thing as a PIPE-150, and if you have proxy arp switched on then you might see this behavour. You did read the manual ? :-)
Is it the 130 then? Who cares? Yes, we read the manual. Yes we called Ascend. There was no mention in the manual about the machine systematically ARPing every local IP it saw to its MAC. I really don't feel this is acceptible behavior or that there is ever a reason to do a same-interface recieve and then publish of ARP information, unless you want to break a network. Ascend's comment was 'Oh yeah! We've seen that. Turn off NAT and proxyarp and that IP Route switch and that oughta do it, we're not sure whats going on really.
