My team ran into a bug in Cisco IOS-XR a few years ago wherein IPv6 connected BGP had problems when using on-link IPs that it did not have when using off-link IPs. E.g. on-link (LL or GUA) vs off-link (GUA on loopback / different interface). -- Grant. . . . unix || die
