Agreed.
They are claiming they are within 50ms.
Which makes sense if the end-to-end path is less than 50ms re: seeing hitless failovers on the IP routers. If the end-to-end path is crossing continents, a local failure which is repaired within 50ms will still cause a longer/noticeable outage for the IP routers connected at either end of said circuit.
