yeah www.jdkrouse.co.uk works OK, but not the jdkrouse.co.uk which 'should' be domain to email to.
ok, and having no A for the domain isn't 'broken'... Some folks have taken to pointing "domain.co.uk" (or "domain.com|net|org") to their webserver isntead of mailserver (mx which might be several machines) so it can be confusing, BUT there is an MX for this domain, so email should flow properly. Mail is stuck in your mail queue or what other symptoms are you noticing?

it's customers handled by btinternet that I'm having troubles with....
jdkrouse.co.uk is one example, I can get to www.jdkrouse.co.uk but there seems to be no jdkrouse.co.uk registered and therefor no MX record..
www.jdkrouse.co.uk seems to be: www.jdkrouse.co.uk. 1799 CNAME home.btconnect.com. home.btconnect.com. 300 A 193.113.209.8 home.btconnect.com. 300 A 193.113.209.25
(according to dig)
served via nameservers: dns4.name-services.com. 124120 A 64.74.96.242 dns5.name-services.com. 124120 A 212.118.243.118 dns1.name-services.com. 124120 A 63.251.163.102 dns2.name-services.com. 124120 A 216.52.184.230 dns3.name-services.com. 124120 A 63.251.83.36
MX for jdkrouse.co.uk seems to be: jdkrouse.co.uk. 1800 MX 10 ibmr.btconnect.com.
There is no "A" record for this domain, which could be considered 'bad' though the MX exists so most modern mta's will still deliver mail.
This looks 'ok' how is it not working for you?
