NANOG Seems to be Dominated by NON-North American People ? ...odd
When was the last time that you attended a NANOG meeting? When was the last time that you read the NANOG charter, in particular this line: The purpose of NANOG is to provide forums in the North American region for education and the sharing of knowledge for the Internet operations community. Last time I looked, the Internet was very international so it should be no surprise that the Internet operations community is also very international.
ARIN seems to have a similar situation ...odd
That is an outright lie. The ARIN members, the ARIN meeting participants and the ARIN mailing list participants are all overwhelmingly North American.
This could be a Great Time to Start an ISP in .USA - Plenty of IPv4+ Address Space. ...and fools are wasting their time and money on IPv6
I agree. If you want a solid investment, I recently acquired the Brooklyn Bridge in New York. If you are interested in making a serious proposal I would be willing to sell it to you. The income from tolls is quite high over the long term, but I'm afraid that I'm not able to properly manage it being so far from New York at present. This is an open offer. If anyone else on the list is interested in buying the bridge, I will entertain any offers. --Michael Dillon :-J
