Imagine: multicast internet radio! Awesome!
I have a feeling streaming is going to stay unicast.
Multicast is a great technical solution in search of a good business problem.

Multicast is perfect for a live event. Unicast is best for "on demand" viewing of something. An event such as today's wedding, a conference viewed in real-time, a sports event, etc. is well-suited for multicast.
