Just called UUNET to ask why traffic from MSP1 to CHI1 is crawling. They said there is a WorldCom OC-12 outage in the Chicago area afecting CHI <-> DC traffic. Something weather related. UUNET ticket # 694960.
We have a pipe to MCI in WillowSprings, and it is crawling as well. Chicago apears to be a congested place at the moment.

We're under quite a winter Storm. Some places received 11" of snow overnight. 1/4 of the office called in sick/snowed in today. Our downtown facilities are fine, but our Western suburban POP is a disaster zone (Willow springs/downers grove is out west). /ajd/
