My comment while was intended to a joke , sadly my concern is that Sprint has been a great provider . - Responsive staff - Functional Looking Glass Server - Clear BGP Community documentation Cogent in my experiences from different employers is that Cogent has been inconsistent . It’s a large global network with various assets , systems and personnel maybe it’s to be expected and it’s easy to joke about it . with that said, as Network Engineer who has to depend on these providers my skin is deeply in this game ,I truly hope that the better qualities arise to the surface from the merger . not a pots type, but i find email to the usual addresses works well.
two reputable top tier providers. been using one or t'other for decades.
but it seems popular for folk with no real skin in the game to diss them. amusing at best.
