Well, it is not rfc1918 that is best invoked here. May i point you to rfc1925 section 2.3, regarding pigs flying with sufficient thrust. IPv4 is the pig, and a steam engined fueled by dollars is the source of thrust https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc1925
