As this week indicated, perhaps tick and tock are not sufficiently far apart to be a good redundancy choice from a geographical failover point of view or common mode failure point of view. As part of a set of 8 servers as you indicate later, perhaps ok, but I fear for people who think "Ok, I want redundancy, so... Tick and Tock."
