Thought so - but if you spend some time putting things together, you get more bang for your buck from postfix + courier + other stuff. Scale horizontally - more cheaper boxes rather than fewer pieces of big iron. You'll be able to build something quite large that way.
As goes users, I honestly don't know how many hide behind those domains, but around 8-10m mails a day at present are hitting this system
