You appear to miss the point of the work. The aim of the analysis was to demonstrate that data networks are designed for and used for different purposes than the voice network, and that the commonly held ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ notion that packet networks are superior to switched voice networks

err. in the ckt switched world, allocations typically are more ridgid than in
a given IP pipe. And this continues in its abilities to aggregate traffic. I
see that as a contradiction to the assertion your assertion that there's no
difference or that voice networks are more efficient than data networks
(depending on how you want to read your paragraph).
