I'm well aware these are not to be used by the public for DNS.  My only concern is that it's used as one of several external hosts to look outside of our network.  This is monitored through Spectrum (Charter) in southwest Ohio.  Maybe a closer server was taken offline or it was unplugged for a coffee maker.  Just reaching out to see if there's any insight at all.
