Note we all could start using IPv6 and avoid this problem altogether. There is nothing stopping us using IPv6 especially for MTA's.
that'd solve the spam problem... for a while at least. (no ipv6 traffic == no spam)
30% of our incoming IPv6 SMTP connections are spam. -- Tim
