We welcome you to NANOG 58 hosted by Verizon Terremark at the Roosevelt New Orleans Hotel. We are expecting strong attendance with nearly 480 registered to attend NANOG 58, 127 have indicated they are attending a NANOG meeting for the first time. In addition to the meeting reminders previously sent to attendee@nanog.org, this message contains information just for those of you attending as Newcomers!
Check-in Reminder:
Meeting registration is in the Roosevelt Foyer. When you arrive at the meeting, please check in at the NANOG registration desk to pick up your name badge, t-shirt, registration tote, and other important handouts.
The registration desk will be open during the following hours:
Sunday 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Monday 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tuesday 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Community Meeting is an opportunity to learn and hear about NANOG. We invite you to attend and participate in the NANOG Community Meeting on Monday, June 3, from 5:45-6:15 p.m. in the Crescent City Ballroom. The Community Meeting, hosted by the NANOG Board, is an important opportunity to learn about organizational updates and communicate with the Board and other NANOG committees.
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, Breakfast is provided.
Continental breakfast for all attendees is available on Monday 8:30-9:00 a.m. and a Power breakfast is available on Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the Roosevelt Foyer.
Monday Activities
Welcome to NANOG! Monday’s agenda begins with optional tutorials, followed by the Newcomers Lunch at in Salon IV/V, where you can meet and greet the NANOG community and start socializing, The room is located on the Mezzanine Level. You will have an opportunity to meet the NANOG Board and learn of the Newcomer Challenge.
NANOG 58 Conference Opening will begin at 1:30 p.m. followed by a number of General Session Presentations.
The NANOG Community Meeting will conclude Monday programming beginning at 5:45 p.m.
Tuesday-Wednesday Programming Activities
All of the slides for the presentations will be linked from the NANOG 58 agenda page just prior to the start of each presentation. Approximately four weeks following the meeting the recorded Tutorial and General Session presentations will be linked on the NANOG 58 meeting agenda page.
