Dear All,

I have informed the support about not getting my invitation as a newcomer yet I haven’t received any responds. I would also be happy to attend the lunch.

Best Regards,

Keivan Bahmani

Dear NANOG Newcomer,

Welcome to NANOG 68, at the Fairmont Dallas Hotel.  We are expecting strong attendance with 1,012 individuals registered, and you are one of the 324 to indicate they are attending a NANOG meeting for the first time. We are happy to have you join us!

Hopefully you’ve seen the general meeting reminders sent in the Attendees Welcome message.  If you did not receive that message, let us know by emailing nanog-support@nanog.org, and we’ll forward a copy to you.  This message contains information related to getting the most out of attending a NANOG conference for the first time.

Monday Newcomers Lunch

The Newcomers Lunch, sponsored by Verisign, will be held at 12:00 p.m. in the Gold meeting room (Banquet Level) on October 17th. This lunch is held especially for our newcomers to meet veteran NANOG colleagues and to become more familiar with NANOG meetings and traditions – we encourage you to attend!  Each lunch table will be hosted by a NANOG Mentor who will provide an overview of a typical NANOG meeting.  The lunch will provide Newcomers an opportunity to discuss NANOG, network with NANOG leadership (past and present), and with each other. Simply stated, it is a time for NANOG networking and finding answers to any questions you may have.

This event is by invitation only; you should receive a calendar invite from events@nanog.org by Noon Central, Sunday, October 16, 2016 – if you do not have the invitation by then please let us know by emailing nanog-support@nanog.org.

NANOG Membership is optional, however we encourage you to consider joining.  You will receive:

·       Discounted Meeting Registration

·       Special Considerations at each NANOG meeting

·       Recognition on NANOG website

·       Most important, the ability to vote and set the direction of NANOG
