Hosted by EdgeConneX, at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore in Baltimore,
Maryland. We are expecting strong attendance at the meeting; with over 675
individuals registered, 193 have indicated they are attending a NANOG
meeting for the first time.
In addition to the meeting reminders previously sent to attendee(a)nanog.org,
this message contains information just for those of you attending for the
first time.
Check-in Reminder:
Meeting registration & check-in will be held at the Constellation Foyer,
located on the 2nd floor of the hotel. When you arrive at the meeting,
please check-in at the NANOG Registration Desk to pick up your name badge,
T-shirt, and important handouts.
The registration desk will be open during the following hours:
• Sunday 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Monday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Tuesday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Wednesday 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
In the Constellation/Atrium Foyer,
• Welcome Refreshments will be served on Monday 8:30-11:00 a.m.
• Power Breakfast will be served Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30-9:30 a.m.
*Monday Activities*
Monday’s agenda begins at 10:00 a.m. with the conference opening and
keynote address, followed by General Session presentations. The Newcomers
Lunch will be held at 12:00 p.m. in Pisces (15th Floor). This event is held
especially for our newcomers to meet NANOG colleagues and to become more
familiar with NANOG meetings and traditions – we encourage you to attend!
This event is by invitation only; you should have received a calendar
invite – if you did not, please let us know by emailing
nanog-support(a)nanog.org.
*Tuesday-Wednesday Programming Activities*
During Tuesday and Wednesday there will be a combination of General Session
presentations as well as concurrent Tracks and Tutorials. Make sure that
you review the agenda online, and plan what sessions to attend. Any updates
to the agenda are reflected on the Online Agenda. The slides for all
General Session presentations will be posted on the Online agenda on the
day of the presentation. Approximately four weeks following the meeting all
the approved and recorded Tutorial and General Session presentations will
be posted to the NANOG 62 meeting agenda page.

When connecting to the 802.1x network, a username and password must be used
(you may also be asked to accept NANOG’s certificate). When connecting to
the PSK network, only the password is required.

The NANOG conference network is geared for high availability and
demonstrating industry best practices. The encryption offered by 802.1x and
WPA2-PSK is no replacement for the end-to-end security offered by IPsec,
