We are expecting strong attendance with nearly 480 registered to attend
NANOG 58, 127 have indicated they are attending a NANOG meeting for the
first time. In addition to the meeting reminders previously sent to
attendee(a)nanog.org, this message contains information just for those of you
attending as Newcomers!
Check-in Reminder:
Meeting registration is in the Roosevelt Foyer. When you arrive at the
meeting, please check in at the NANOG registration desk to pick up your
name badge, t-shirt, registration tote, and other important handouts.
The registration desk will be open during the following hours:
Sunday 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Monday 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tuesday 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Community Meeting is an opportunity to learn and hear about NANOG. We
invite you to attend and participate in the NANOG Community Meeting on
Monday, June 3, from 5:45-6:15 p.m. in the Crescent City Ballroom. The
Community Meeting, hosted by the NANOG Board, is an important opportunity
to learn about organizational updates and communicate with the Board and
other NANOG committees.
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, Breakfast is provided.
Continental breakfast for all attendees is available on Monday 8:30-9:00
a.m. and a Power breakfast is available on Tuesday and Wednesday from
8:30-9:30 a.m. in the Roosevelt Foyer.
Monday Activities
Welcome to NANOG! Monday’s agenda begins with optional tutorials, followed
by the Newcomers Lunch at in Salon IV/V, where you can meet and greet the
NANOG community and start socializing, The room is located on the
Mezzanine Level. You will have an opportunity to meet the NANOG Board and
learn of the Newcomer Challenge.
NANOG 58 Conference Opening will begin at 1:30 p.m. followed by a number of
General Session Presentations.
The NANOG Community Meeting will conclude Monday programming beginning at 5:45
p.m.
Tuesday-Wednesday Programming Activities
All of the slides for the presentations will be linked from the NANOG 58
agenda page just prior to the start of each presentation. Approximately
four weeks following the meeting the recorded Tutorial and General Session
presentations will be linked on the NANOG 58 meeting agenda page.
Socials
- Monday, June 3rd - 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. BTI and CoreSite will be hosting
an off-site social at the House of Blues.
- Tuesday, June 4th - 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. the ever famous NANOG Beer
n’ Gear will be held at theWaldorf Astoria Ballroom.
- Tuesday, June 4th Beginning 8:15 p.m. Verizon Terremark is holding an
off-site social at Steamboat Natchez.
- Wednesday, June 5th Beginning at 6:30 p.m. Netflix and Equnix will be
hosting an off-site send-off social at Court of Two Sisters.

A wireless network is provided throughout the meeting spaces for your
convenience and will be available bySunday afternoon.
