Thanks greatly to all for the tips. I was able to move towards a solution out of them. Sometimes we just gotta go "Grainger mode"! Actually been looking at Precision Optical for some of their XGSPON stuff for another project; Kevin, have you used any of their PON stuff/do you like it? RE: the garage electronics thrift store, always been a secret dream of mine but I'm too much of a hoarder to make a good margin. Haha. Definitely admire the hustle of people who can stay focused on online/ebay retail long enough to build it into a business. On Thu, May 8, 2025 at 7:09 PM Kevin McCormick <kmccormick@mdtc.net> wrote:
Hello Alex,
Try Precision Optical Technologies who was bought recently by Belden.
They are located in Rochester, NY.
Good prices, excellent warranty, excellent customer service, made in USA, and no issues with optics for years, unlike FS.
Thank you,
Kevin McCormick

Howdy y'all,
I find myself onsite travelling in Weehawken and short two 100g LR4 1310 optics, and the soonest I can get them via shipping is not soon enough.
Anyone know of a source who would stock 100g QSFP28 LR4 1310 optics for sale locally in NYC/EWR area or interested in selling their cold spare to me? Feel free to reply directly.
Microcenter appears to unfortunately only have up to 10g optics.
Thanks!
