root servers giving bad authoritative answers?

this is really quite odd... it appers that the root servers, we've tested a through f as of so far, are answering queries for one of our customer's domains with non-authoritative a record responses, as though query recursion were enabled. ideas, anybody? -j --- josh grubman / http://false.net/~jg "if you don't ask, i wont upset you"
