Knot [1] was recently reviewed by a colleague of mine that needed to do an experiment and needed a clean code base to make some modifications to. He was quite pleased with his need to modify the knot code and found it clean and understandable. [1]: https://www.knot-dns.cz/ -- Wes Hardaker
