Andy Jabbour just shared this link about it on the outages mailing list: https://www.techradar.com/news/live/verizon-outage-january-2026 Sharing here in case others aren't on that list. My partner (Delaware) reported that their Verizon iphone had gone SOS-only, even after a reboot. Shoot, did an autopay fail? Never seen this before. I noticed the same on mine. SOS-only, sometimes with satellite only, sometimes with wifi. Try to log in over home wifi, and of course, Verizon wants to authenticate me by....sending a notification to my phone number. FFS. Really? Passkeys, WebAuthN, TOTP? None of this has meaning to you guys? Are others seeing this? -Dan _______________________________________________ NANOG mailing list https://lists.nanog.org/archives/list/nanog@lists.nanog.org/message/SLGRASJJ...
