Except I do not have a GE card, was never given one. They did not give them out at first, and they stopped giving them out to new people recently.
Hopefully they let you present your passport which is registered with GE?

Having walked the border many times in recent years, I can verify that taking your GE card with you is _VERY_ worth while.
One day, the line was long enough that I asked the people near the front how long they had been in line as I got close to the officer for the “express” lane. They said that they started at 10:00 AM. It was approximately 8:00 PM when I was walking back.
There was nobody in front of me in the Sentri line.
FYI, the lines are marked “Sentri Only”, but any of Global Entry, Sentri, or Nexus can and should use those express lines.

Rumor is its best to have your physical global entry or nexus cards to speed the walking border crossing. One of the few places aside from TSA you use them.

We are not that far from the border.. So it may be easier to get liberated over there :)
