Dear NANOG 92 Attendees,

Today is the first day of NANOG 92, host sponsored by Toronto Internet Exchange, here are a few reminders for today, Monday, 21 Oct, 2024.

IMPORTANT Hotel Updates

Hotel under repair

- Construction in the South Tower guest rooms (noise potential from 7am - 6pm)

With those updates out of the way, we now return to our regularly scheduled communications:

Lightning Talks - The Program Committee has begun accepting Lightning Talk submissions for 10-minute speaking slots to be presented in person on Tuesday, 22 October, and Wednesday, 23 October.

A lightning talk is a very short presentation/speech by any attendee attending in person on any topic relevant to the NANOG audience. These are limited to ten minutes; this will be strictly enforced. If you have a topic that's timely and interesting, we encourage you to consider presenting it.

Please submit an abstract, and select Lightning Talk from the Session Type drop down menu. Attach any slides you wish to include to your submission. The submission deadline is Tuesday, 22 October, 3:00 pm EDT. You will be notified by text message if you have been selected the evening prior to your scheduled presentation.

Don't forget we have Daily Surveys available - you will find all NANOG 92 surveys at nanog.org/surveys

Also note, sponsorship opportunities for NANOG 93 taking place 03-05 February 2025, in Atlanta, Georgia are available. Please find Shawn Winstead, NANOG's Business Development Specialist,  or email sponsor-support@nanog.org to inquire about availability.
