Hello NANOGers,
NANOG 97, hosted by AWS, is just around the corner, and we are looking forward to you joining us in Bellevue!
We’re so excited, we just couldn’t wait to update you on a few new rollouts before the normal welcome and daily messages start being sent in two weeks.
The NANOG Workshop Committee is pleased to announce there are two workshops taking place at NANOG 97! These workshops REQUIRE additional registration, and seating is limited to 50 people each. Links to register are available from the NANOG 97 Workshops webpage and also on each of the workshops event pages:
SONiC Hands-on Workshop - Data Center leaf-spine fabric design with Community SONiC
Monday, June 1, 1:30pm - 5:00pm, with a 30 minute break at 3:30pm
Grand Ballroom H-K
Seeing the Invisible: Network Observability at Scale in AWS
Tuesday, June 2, 2:30 - 6:00pm, with a 30 minute break at 3:30pm
Regency Ballroom
You can find those workshops on the NANOG 97 Agenda, too… have you checked that out yet? The full agenda was published a week ago, and you now have options for how to view activities. We’ve added viewing options to see what’s running in parallel - either by time (horizontal alignment), room (vertical alignment), or the standard list view. Pick your favorite view and be sure to heart the items you just don’t want to miss.
And please make sure to take advantage of the NANOG Meet Me Room. We are happy to announce the reservation system for tables in the NANOG Meet Me Room is slowly starting to fill up. Make sure to reserve your table before they are all gone! As a reminder, this is different from the My Calendar tool where you schedule meeting *times* with other attendees. We understand that the ability to book a meeting time and location in one step is preferred, and we will roll this into one system in the next version.
Finally, do you want to share your involvement with NANOG across social media or in your email signature?? We have a conference kit with images that will let you spread the word. If you tag us in the socials, we might even give you a repost ;-)
Cheers,
Valerie
